Complaints

Last updated: 13 August 2026

We want concerns to be handled fairly, clearly and without unnecessary delay.

How to complain

Email support@balpay.eu with “Formal complaint” in the subject. Include your name, organisation, contact details, a description, relevant dates and the outcome you seek. Do not send card numbers, security credentials, authentication codes or other sensitive secrets.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge a complaint within five business days and provide a substantive response within 15 business days. If additional time is required, we will explain why and provide an expected date. These are service targets pending final approval of the formal complaints policy; mandatory or partner-specific deadlines prevail.

Complaints about a regulated service

If the matter concerns a service delivered by an authorised partner, we may securely refer it to that provider and tell you who is handling it. The provider’s contractual complaints process, regulator and out-of-court redress arrangements will apply. CSSF jurisdiction must not be assumed unless the relevant provider and service fall within its remit.

Privacy complaints

Privacy concerns may use the same contact with “Privacy complaint” in the subject. You also have the right to contact the Luxembourg CNPD.

Emergency security matters

For suspected account compromise, use the support channel shown in the client portal as soon as possible. Do not rely on this public page for emergency payment instructions.
